The reason I chose this piece to do my literary analysis on was because something I found very unique and interesting was the fact that we, the readers, know that one girl is one race, and the other girl is a different race, but we never find out which is which. The way this story was written, makes either one seem to belong to either race, so there is no need to stereotype, because if one girl does something that seems stereotypical of one race, the other girl does something even more so.
